Marcos Wittig

Marcos WittigBio:

Marcos Wittig was born into a missionary home in the country of Colombia.  In 1976 he graduated from Asbury College with a B.A. in Education, and considered that God was calling him into missions.  Then, after spending a year in Spain working in street evangelism, he entered Trinity Evangelical Divinity School in order to better prepare himself for mission work.  While at Trinity, he founded a Hispanic church in Chicago, and after graduating in 1982 with an MDiv, he continued to pastor the church.  In 1984, he joined OMS International with the call to teach at the Biblical Seminary of Colombia in Medellín.  This he has done since 1986, teaching mostly in the area of Missions and Evangelism. Marcos also has founded a sports ministry and has been involved in various church planting projects.  He has three grown children and two grandchildren.
