Bio:

Tayna Rains is a lifelong member of Upper Sand Mountain Parish as a member of one of its local churches.  Tayna came to be employed at USMP in October 2007, as the Ministry Center Coordinator, after having spent ten years in the counseling field working with mental illness and substance abuse.  She became the Director in December 2008, becoming the first lay person to serve in this role.  She is actively involved in local government, serving in her second term as Council Member in Dutton, where they have twice been given state awards for municipal achievement. Tayna has an 8 year old daughter, Claudessa, who is a 3^rd grader at Dutton Elementary School.
