Mrs. Joy Griffin

Joy GriffinMrs. Joy Griffin serves as International Leadership Institute's International Director with a special focus on leadership development for women. Prior to this assignment, Joy served as a missionary in Estonia and Professor of Theology and Spiritual Formation at the Baltic Methodist Theological Seminary.  Joy has served as a pastor's wife, youth minister, and missionary. Today she is a noted speaker on spiritual formation and world missions and is joined in ministry by her husband, Dr. Wes Griffin, and their two children Hannah and Caleb.

Mrs. Joy Griffin will be speaking Friday night.

 


 

Leonard Sweet

Leonard SweetDr. Sweet is a preacher and writer who communicates the gospel powerfully to a postmodern age by bridging the worlds of academe and popular culture.  Currently he is the E. Stanley Jones Professor of Evangelism at Drew University, Madison, NJ and a Visiting Distinguished Professor at George Fox University, Portland, Oregon.  Len has been chosen to speak at various Jurisdictional and General Conferences as well as the 1996 World Methodist Congress in Rio de Janeiro. He also serves as a consultant to many of America's denominational leaders and agencies.

Dr. Leonard Sweet will be leading the General Sesssion on Friday and Saturday.

Travis Cottrell

Travis CottrellMinistering to the heart of God with music has long been the passion of Travis Cottrell's heart. Originally from Boone, N.C., Travis graduated from Belmont University in 1992 with a degree in Church Music. He has spent the years since then serving the Lord and His people with singing, leading, arranging and writing music. He has had the honor of singing with a long list of Christian artists, including Amy Grant, Mercy Me, Steven Curtis Chapman, Vince Gill, CeCe Winans and Steve Green. Travis has also written and arranged many music collections for church choirs and praise teams, including the Dove award-nominated projects Hymns for Praise and Worship, All Bow Down, Made To Worship, and Redemption: The Power of the Cross, and the Dove award winning Everything Glorious. He most recently completed a Dove-nominated worship musical in partnership with the Max Lucado release, 3:16.
