Come and learn how WAY – FM uses media in a culturally relevant way to influence this generation to love and follow Jesus.

Bio:
Kris Spain became involved with music and media as a pre-teen, when she started running audio and video for her church in Marysville, Ohio. She developed a strong passion for ministering through media, and began working with Christian concerts in her area. Kris graduated in 2008 from Malone College in Canton, Ohio with a BA in Commercial Music Technology and a concentration in Music Business. Now, as the Marketing & Promotions Director for WAY-FM, she is responsible for planning and facilitating all concerts and events, contests, and overseeing the station’s community involvement.
Thom Ewing has been involved in media for most of his life from high school on. He started WAYH-FM for North Alabama in 2003 and serves as the station’s General Manager. Previously he worked in public broadcasting, Christian and family radio and TV, and a variety of other radio formats from on-air work to sales and management. He holds a one-year Bible Certificate from North Central University and a bachelor's degree from Ottawa University. He and his wife of 35 years, Sue, an English tutor, live in Madison, AL. They have two grown children, Amy and Jesse, and a son-in-law, Evan. Thom and Sue are active members at Calvary Assembly in Decatur, AL
