Workshop description:

This workshop will explore the biblical, missiological and practical aspects of serving the world’s poorest communities in a transformational way.  It will enlighten the participants toward an emerging mission strategy-- to empower the local churches to meet the physical as well as spiritual needs of their neighbors.  Come and learn the new paradigm of missiology:  empowerment.

Time: Friday 2 to 4 p.m.

Bio: Dr. Florence Muindi has served as a medical missionary since 1989 working extensively throughout Ethiopia, Kenya and Sudan.  Florence is married to Festus and they have two teenage boys, Jay and Kyalo.  She is the founder and president of Life in Abundance International, a non-profit religious organization committed to bringing health to the poor through the local church.
