Why SECOND? What’s SECOND? How’s SECOND relate to the current I AM SECOND movement going on in the USA? Well, come and hear how God has used this incredible method to anchor some of the most incredible church planting movements in recent history. We’ll tell you the story of John Chen and how God used him and a Chinese church community of 250 people in 2000 to plant over 15,000 new churches and baptize more than 160,000 believers in 3 short years … a movement still exploding! In our simple Bible discussions, there is no designated teacher other than THE TEACHER, the Holy Spirit speaking out of the Word of God! Using the acronym SECOND, we learn how to tell stories in small groups that expand via new groups rather than growing larger … where everyone contributes … where everyone is considered a potential leader … everyone is looking to discuss and discover Truth through obediently keeping our Lord’s commandments. Expect to be able to influence your family, work space, classmates and communities for Jesus Christ once this workshop has been completed.

Time: Saturday 9 to 11 a.m.

Bio: Mike and Mary are full time missionaries working with e3 Partners Ministry as they concentrate on working with the church of Rwanda, Maharashtra state, India, and recently the Congo-DRC to see churches planted in areas where there is not an evangelical church within walking distance of the community’s men, women, and children. One of the main areas of encouragement they bring to the nations are e3 discipleship teams from the United States to their out of the way, back country rural areas. Mike and Mary have 3 sons, 2 daughter-in-laws, and three grandchildren. They reside in Huntsville when they are in country.
