Workshop description:
Battlefield Ministries, Inc. is attempting to become a full-service ministry within one of Madison County's most high risk areas. They have a 13,000 square foot facility equipped with a computer lab, education room, gymnasium/skating rink, game room, cafeteria, thrift store and produce shed. Services offered include an academy for Pre-K3 thru 1st grade, after-school and summer camp, GED, Bible study and worship.
Time: Friday 2 to 4 p.m.
Bio: Melvin Grew up in Harvest, AL and graduated from Jacksonville State University with a BS in Social Work. Melvin retired in 2008 from The Boys & Girls Clubs of America after 20 years of service. He is currently serving as Director and Founder of Battlefield Ministries, Inc. He has been married to Sylvia for 24 years and has two adult children and 3 adopted children.
