Storehouse Ministry - A 24/7 House of Prayer and Mission Base

Workshop description:
The Storehouse Ministry is a house of prayer and mission base for the community currently operating for 24 hours 1 day a week with a goal of operating 24 hours 7 days a week. One of the purposes of the house of prayer and mission base is to grow the body of Christ by developing a prayer mindset leading to a missional lifestyle. This aspect, as well as the various types of prayer and forms of worship experienced at the Storehouse will be discussed with practical examples and application. In addition, praying through the night, known as the Nightwatch, will be covered. The Storehouse Internship program that is evolving will be presented as well as the application process for those who may be interested.
Time: Saturday 9 to 11 a.m.
Bio: Susan has been a member at Asbury since the late 1980's. She and her husband Jim have 2 children, Morgan, a sophomore at Auburn and Hayden, a sophomore at Bob Jones High School. Susan has been involved in various aspects of children and youth ministry at Asbury as well as missions local and abroad. She has become involved in the past couple of years with the Storehouse, a ministry supported by Asbury that is a community-wide prayer and mission base. She is currently helping to facilitate the nightwatch portion of the Storehouse, which includes the night hours of prayer. The Storehouse is currently in operation 24 hours a day, 1 day a week with a goal of 24 hours a day 7 days a week.
