Workshop description:

We will be searching Scriptures to know our God and what He says about prayer. We will discuss why some prayers are answered and why some are not, why some people seem to pray so effectively and others never seem to get a prayer answered. In all of this, we will seek to see His glory and to understand the essential connection between knowing our God and praying to Him.

Time: Saturday 2 to 4 p.m.

Bio: Anita and David have been married for 32 years.  They have five children, ages 17 to 29, and two sweet granddaughters, Jordan, and Lily. As a volunteer counselor at Choose Life in Huntsville and a facilitator in their Healing Hands ministry, Anita has been blessed to minister to women and men of all walks of life who have suffered the trauma of abortion and its after-effects of grief, shame, and guilt.  Anita’s personal testimony is reflected in Isaiah 61.   In darkness and captivity – her life was miserable, her marriage was in shambles, her children were wandering and then - Christ!  Trying to turn over a new leaf became turning to a new life.  Truly, nothing is impossible with God.
